JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr. Fleet Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of fleet procurement for the company. This role ensures the company’s fleet remains cost-effective, compliant, and operationally efficient. The specialist will oversee budgeting, asset disposals, equipment tracking, and vehicle transfers while addressing issues such as stolen vehicles and intercompany fleet needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in fleet procurement, management, or a related field.

Specialized Skills

• Strong understanding of fleet operations, budget management, and procurement strategies.

• Proficiency in fleet management systems, such as IFS or similar software.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and budgeting.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast pace work environment

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Fleet Procurement Management: Respond to all fleet procurement needs by sourcing vehicles and equipment that align with company requirements and budgetary constraints.

• Asset Disposal: Coordinate the disposal of fleet vehicles and equipment through auction houses, ensuring the best possible resale value and proper documentation.

• Incident Management: Handle stolen vehicle cases by working closely with law enforcement, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders to recover or replace lost assets.

• Intercompany Transfers: Manage intercompany vehicle and equipment transfers using IFS, ensuring seamless movement and accurate documentation across company divisions.

• Equipment Tracking: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all fleet assets, utilizing tracking tools and systems to monitor usage, location, and maintenance status.

• Vendor Relations: Work with manufacturers, dealers, and leasing companies to secure favorable terms and ensure timely procurement and delivery of fleet assets.

• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all fleet assets comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Please note that the salary information shown below is provided in compliance with state specific laws. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations, and therefore may be different in other locations or operating divisions.

Pay range: $65,000 -$70,000
