Landscape Analyst

Department: Maintenance
Location: Henderson, CO

Summary: Responsible for the accurate and timely estimation of new business maintenance sites

Duties include:

  • Gather, calculate and compile take off data for use in bid estimates

  • Visit sites to obtain any additional measurements or information to assist in completing bid document

  • Add and update project information in ERP software

  • Work interactively with Operations and Business Development to ensure all factors pertaining to sites have been accounted for

  • Create site maps detailing boundaries and task information

  • Effectively communicate analyzed data and information to Operations and Business Development

  • Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practices

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture, Construction/Project Management, or related field; or at least 2 years related work experience

Field Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable field experience with project estimating or design-build work preferred

  • Knowledge of Colorado plant life preferred

  • Familiar with commercial landscape tasks and equipment preferred

Language Skills

  • Ability to read, write and comprehend English

  • Ability to speak effectively before employees and clients

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

  • Valid driver license issued by the state where employed

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong customer service skills, with internal and external clients

  • Effective oral and written communication

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under deadlines

Organizational skills

  • Flexibility

  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Intermediate to advanced experience using design software, including but not limited to: Photoshop, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite

Please note that the salary information shown below is provided in compliance with state specific laws. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations, and therefore may be different in other locations or operating divisions.

Pay range: $55,000 - $75,000
